BABY DUMPING

                  

       Nowadays, Malaysia is facing a serious issue regarding on baby dumping which getting more chronic and cause a lot of attention. This social problem can be seemed on all type of media such as newspaper and mass media. For the past few years there are many new born babies have been found, dead or live in the most unlikely places like rubbish dump. This is shows clearly that baby dumping is really serious problem that currently happen in our society. Baby dumping became chronic it is because teenagers are immature to fully understand the effect of free sex. Besides, they lack of sex education and don’t have parental control their activity.

Do you think this is a rubbish??? Do you think they have any feelings about humanity??? think about it!!!

  

                   Young minds think differently towards sex. The guys think it’s fun and the girls think that it will strengthen their relationship towards their boyfriends. Some ladies made it a business to save them from poverty, under estimating the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies. Unwanted pregnancy is the result of careless decision and unprotected sex. Due to immaturity, teenage mother tried to escape from the consequences for them to commit abortion or to dump the baby somewhere upon giving birth. In Malaysia, increasing cases of Baby Dumping has been reported to reach alarming rate that calls the attention of the Authorities

        Moreover cause of baby dumping is teenagers are too immature to fully understand the effects of free sex on their lives. So there is no doubt that another problem will be created because of it. Being a pregnant unexpectedly makes them feel panic and they take a risk to abort the baby before their family aware of the physical changes on their body. They cannot thinks rationally any more in the desperate situation whether their want to abort the baby or to decide to give birth to the baby. They dumb the baby such as throw away the babies at any places like dustbin, toilet and so on. In these cases teenagers do not have money to carry such a huge responsibility. Most of them consider baby dumping as the best way because they think it will not leave over effects on them in the future. But their minds are definitely wrong because they have killed the innocent babies and do the crime.

Who are they????

         There are many way to prevent baby dumping problem. One of the ways to solve this problem is by give a Sexuality Education. Baby dumping presumably results from unwanted pregnancy. To prevent baby dumping, it is therefore ultimately necessary to educate individuals about sexuality. We support age-appropriate comprehensive sexuality education, and recommends that schools and communities provide comprehensive sexuality education to all youth and families. The other way is by build a Baby Hatch.The baby hatch program was launched on 30 May 2010 in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It was built to rescue unwanted newborns, a place where mothers must be allowed to leave their babies without fear of prosecution so that these babies can be cared for. The hatch has a small door which opens to an incubator bed on which the mother can place her baby. Once the door is closed, an alarm bell will alert the NGO’s staff to the baby’s presence after the mother has left.

                       Therefore, this issue has reached to the government consideration and government also has come out with some policies to anyone who dumped a baby. Dumping a baby can be a capital offence when the person has committed it and causing the child to die consequently, the Cabinet has decided the murder sentenced to death. Some committee such Women’s Aid Organization disagreed that capital punishment should be implemented because it may not be the solution to baby dumping as proper education should be given to the youngsters in order to prevent them for committing the crime over again.
